Why hip-hop?
Hip-hop at its core is rooted in struggle. The struggle to overcome, the struggle to be heard, and the struggle to achieve one’s dreams. For this reason so many find inspiration and motivation through hip-hop, because to struggle is at the core of being human; it is something through which we can all relate.

Do you make money when I download an MP3?
We have an agreement with Amazon to take a percentage of every MP3 downloaded from HipHopInspires.us. We donate 100% of proceeds to UCAN, a wonderful Chicago charity dedicated to helping children who have been in traumatic situations thrive.
